What is he?

We are told arcauna but gold laced i have yet to stumble upon a picture of any similar birds. He's young will he grow bigger and development feathering or is this what hes gonna look like forever? I believe hes less than six months old.

I don't know if gold laced is a recognized color of Araucanas. Maybe breeders are doing it but it might not breed true? But to me, his overall coloration looks right for an Araucana. He's beautiful!

To me he looks more Birchen than Gold Laced. He will probably fill out some but not get much taller. Partially tailed/tuftless Araucanas do happen.

Thank you. I like to try to guess these breeds and genders so that I can follow along to see if I was correct or not, and if I wasn't, learn what to look for the next time.
