What is in this egg?

Well, I got home from school today and Waddles had gotten into the nesting area with Marshmallow and Raven and one of Ravens egg was cracked . I cracked it open the rest of the way and the yolk was broken, and there were green bits in it. It is day four, so was expecting to see some veins when I poured it into the bowl. Now I am just sad that I am down to five eggs and I am worried that the rest aren't developing since that one didn't have veins.

Separate your broody(ies) from the rest of the flock, and candle on day 7 to check for development.

I'd say the egg was not developing and was starting to decay.

Might’ve died, or it was never fertile to begin with.

Poor nutrition, infertile hens or roosters, damaged egg, stored improperly, etc...
