What is it with women and eyelashes? I don't get it.

Women are beautiful creatures. In all varied sizes, shapes and colors. It's what makes the world go 'round.
I have a friend. She has always wore makeup. Always. Never seen her without it. Never seen her put it on either but I'm pretty sure it involved paint brushes and a spatula. Possibly power tools.
Then one day I stopped by to give her husband a ride to work very early in the morning before she had a chance to put her war paint on. I swear she looked twice as good and 20 years younger. Just sorta glowed. I was impressed. I really wanted to tell her... but I learned many years ago to never ever speak to a woman unless it's absolutly necassary. Sorta like volunteering in the military... you just don't do it. Bad things are bound to happen.


But make-up? I never understood it. I can go paint my barn but it's still going to be a barn.

And after all those sweet replies about eyelashes making people pretty.... I'm going to go look and see if Terra has any... because I never really noticed to be honest. But I already know she's pretty to me.

I guess the problem that she has is that this is JUST PLAIN ICKYYYYY! I can't imagine having a pair of scissors around my eyes, and would probably cut my eyelids if I tried that. Ickyy!! Stop it now!!

Its scientifically proven that longer eyelashes are proven to make eyes look bigger to the opposite sex. And humans are scientifically proven to be sexually attracted to people who have bigger eyes. Weird right? I personally like long lashes. I like makeup too, but in small amounts! I wear it, but only to make my eyes look bigger, cause they are asiany. haha

Oh Lordy, I'm not knocking anyone who does wear makeup... that's a personal choice. I was just saying I think most women look great natural to me.

My sweet and wonderful husband and I were going somewhere not too long after we married. I ususally just wear mascara, but I asked him if maybe I needed a little more. He said "I don't see where any more will help...".
