What in the world is this furry thing sleeping in my coop?! Wasn't there yesterday and the chickens are all accounted for with no injuries. It seems to have come in the night or morning and it is happily sleeping while the chickens, myself, the kids and dog are making a ton of noise. Ferret? baby raccoon? It looks smaller than the hens. I am afraid to wake it up!! Help!

Not sure, It's not spiny tho, it's furry.

I would do that but not knowing what it is i would watch out

From its fur tho it looks like a possum and those can be quite aggressive at times. Do you have a net? Or a container you can throw over it, then put a flat surface under it (like a lid) and just relocate it a little ways away.
