Anyone have a good guess?? I have checked a bunch of sites but nothing is described that has black feathers but white wing tips.

I think my BLk australorps had white wing tips until they matured and the chicks looked like that.
    Just a possibility [IMG]

Black Australorp. They lose the white wing tips eventually. I have 7 and they're nice birds.

YUP looks just like my Australorps who are only 5 - 6 weeks old..white wing tips and all.

From what I read on My pet chicken, they are... Since they don't have huge combs like sicilians or anything, I think it'll be OK. How cold is cold?
