What is "Legs"?

Here is an update on Legs. She will be 12 weeks old on Tues. I don't see any new feathering, although she is about the same height as her hatch mates.


Here is the closeup on her face as requested...


From the back. Her little stub of a tail is strange looking without any feathers to cover her. (assuming she is a she...)

I wanted to share some pictures of Legs with her hatch mates. They all came in form Ideal Poultry almost 12 weeks ago. Note, all of her hatch mates have fully feathered out now, except her...
In this first picture you can see her with several of her Hatchmates. She was identical to the white EE on the right when they arrived.


Here she is with a Black Australorp who is from the same Ideal order.

I suspect part EE with those legs, but the other part, no clue. Time may tell! Intriguing!

Any way he/she could be part O Shamo?

I have never heard of an O Shamo, or have any idea what one would look like. According to another recent thread I found here in the BYC, Ideal (where I ordered from) has them, but when I checked their site, nothing came up under that name.

They are under Orientals on their website. Click brown egg layers and then click orientals.

I thought maybe Shamo, too. Those legs and the neck would seem to point to it.

Oh, wow! If she had feathers I bet she would look like that! She is already 12 weeks, does this breed feather out late?
