Wow! Legs has turned into a very nice cockerel indeed. Not half bad for a scruffy little poult.

Very strange, but he did really look like a poult for a while.

I have an Easter Egger cockerel that looks almost exactly like Legs, and he also took ages to get all his feathers. I wonder what it could be that makes them feather so slowly.

When and where did you get your EE cockerel? I wonder if they could be from the same parents.
He arrived may 15yh from Ideal.
All of the other EE I ordered feathered out at a normal speed though...

This is interesting to me because I had an EE like this many, many years ago. Just like yours it feathered out ridiculously slowly. But she finally grew all her feathers and looked completely normal just like yours. Maybe there is a recessive slow feathering gene floating around in the EE gene pool somewhere.
