When your pullets are old enough to lay, he should think of them as hens. At that point he should stop "attacking" them and start breeding them. If, at that point he continues to attack them, in my opinion he would be worthless as a rooster.

Be very careful with this rooster, he may be acting strictly on an overload of testosterone and will straighten out later. But, you need to make sure he understands that you are the boss immediately.

I would post my cure for this behavior, but I have been informed my method is cruel. You can pm me if you like.......

Do a thread search on rooster aggression to find a method that will work for you. Never let a rooster dance for you. Always walk through him, not around him.
