What is my rooster?

Can anyone give me an idea what this rooster might be? He has lightly black feathered legs. I was sold his egg as a black copper maran and hatched him a year ago, and kept him as a maran, but I do not believe him to be one comparing photos with others online.

I'm attaching a photo of him, and a hen that hatched from the same group of eggs.

So any guesses? Thanks for your help!

Not 100% sure but they look like black australorps especially her he looks more like a black australorp, road island red mix maybe

The eggs they came from were about this colour brown, or possibly a little darker.

Could be Marans crosses, but I don't think they are pure.
