What is my silkie mixed with?

He is 5.5 months old and I would love to know what he is mixed with!

Do you know possible parents? if not it could be almost anything xD My mind wants to say possibly cochin but most 'heart shaped' birds make me think cochin ^^

Black skin is dominant, & should be present with that much back crossing.

Oh I didn’t even notice the skin color! I was just looking at the feathers. It does look like a silkie with poor skin coloring, but what would be the reason for the small crest?

It happens in poorly bred silkies.

So its possible he is full bred? Just poorly bred? That would make sense. He was on a farm that had thousands of chickens.

I wish! He was bred on a farm with thousands of chickens so I have no clue other than the half silkie part lol
