and yes she is a true ameraucana. they are different than the auracana (however you spell it) which is "rumpless", and the easter egger.

Ameraucanas are a breed seperate from EE's. This is my Blue Wheaten roo:

EE's are sold from hatcheries as Ameraucana's which is where the confusion comes in. Google the Ameraucana's Breeders Club. One of our members is the Western District rep for them - pips&peeps.​

If it's not causing any problems I say leave it. Maybe cover it with a magic marker so they stop pecking at it. If you remove it, it may start bleeding.
