What is on my duckling?!

I just hatched my first duckling and all 7 just hatched. The 2nd to last to hatch has something weird hanging from him. Please someone let me know what I should do.

it looks like poop, if it’s dried up and still stuck you can try a wet rag and gently rub it off don’t pick it that would make it worst.

It looks like it has blood veins running through it...kinda the texture of skin. I just saw something about “absorbing the yoke” Do you think this is what it could be?

Yes and if you pick at it you will disembowl the chick. Just leave it alone.

Place it in a margarine container lined with paper towel. It's still absorbing its yolk. Don't give it anything by mouth till its able to feed and drink on its own. It can take well over 24 hours before that disappears.
