Solved What is premium membership?

I keep seeing premium membership banners under user avatars and don't know what it's for or how to signup. Someone mentioned in a forum that it allows you to change your username, but what else does it do?

I clicked the Members link at the top and see no mention of it anywhere. I tried the Home page, too, and still nothing.

Can someone please help me understand this mysterious membership? Thank you!

You need to go to the BYC store. It's a paid membership. It should list all the advantages there, though I haven't looked at it lately.

you pay a fee to be be a premium member but then no adds still have to spell check your own post's

I do feel some of the mystery should be removed by turning each Premium Member banner into a link that takes people to the store listing. Membership is one of those things that should be advertised. Maybe on the signup page when new accounts are created and as a badge in the footer.

You can also upgrade through your account. It's on the left side of your account screen under "settings".
