What is she?

This is Doris. She was sold (out of the feed store bin) as a black wyandotte... and black she is not. She is about 6 weeks old at time of photos.

(her white speckles are vertical down the middle of the feather, not cross-wise like her her barred-rock flockmate)

Any guesses as to what breed she is?

Silver laced Wyandotte.

The lacing with come in better with each molt till it reaches it's adult feathers.

But you know, when you do a Google image search of Silver Laced Wyandotte chick, the babies appear to be white with black trim, (at least much lighter in color than Doris). She is black with small white highlights ...

I had several SLW's and they are seemed to color in differently until they were finally in fully adult feathers and then they were all identical.

Yep, SLW. I have 2 that are 10 weeks old, and they both look different (regarding amount of white on their feathering.) They're such a pretty breed.
