What IS she?

Hatched her from a brown egg from Ideal last year... She will be one on April 18th...

She lays light brown eggs.... She's pretty small compared to my other hen (who is a production red I think)

hmm.. just looked it up. Interesting. One person even said they are very broody and make excellent mothers.. I may have to give her some eggs to hatch if she decides to do that. My hubby wouldn't let me keep the chicks, but I hatch a lot for our secretary at the school.

I won't be eating her, but she lays an egg a day. She's really smart too.
