What is she?

I have someone in my flock that lays a dark brown speckled egg. I don't know who it is. I have New Hampshire reds, RIR and blk sex links. It's possible this girl is a barnyard mix but idk. Got her from someone else. Her legs have scraggly feathers on them. Not clean but not feathery. What do you think she is?

Maybe a Marans or Marans mix? But then again, lots of breeds and their mixes can lay pretty dark eggs, so its hard to say.

With the partially feathered legs and white/pink skin, I'm pretty confident that girl has Marans ancestry, so that's where your dark egg comes from.
