When do hybrids begin laying eggs? Mine is 11 weeks and hope she is laying soon.

really? I wasn't expecting her to lay so short. I didn't think she was going to lay until 10 weeks or so. Thanks!

The hybrid layers like sex links from hatcheries usually 18-22 weeks. Some can be as early as 16 weeks and 24 weeks is pushing the outside of window for those production type layers. Other breeds 24 weeks is normal and can take well over 30 weeks to start. And of course if a bird does not come into lay by the solstice likely wont start until spring unless provided supplemental lighting.
