What is the best bator to buy??

The hovabators are styrofoam, but the way they are made makes them hold temp very well. I never have to adjust mine, about the only thing I do is add water every few days.

I also agree. Got one for my birthday (under $200 with the turner, and shipping when it's on sale). Borrowed one this spring for my first ever hatch and loved it. Am currently incubating my second hatch, in my very own brand new bator, and at day 14 have 10 out of 10 going strong. If you want a smallish bator it's awesome.

yap, i suggest you build one DIY, very easy and cheapppp, it's very useful to train our skill in "construction" though.
