What is the best filtering equipment for a 500L duck pond

We put in a major yard project for our Pekin's several months ago ... we have 650 gallons so quite a bit larger than yours but take a look at the pictures from our duck pond build (just search our name).  The babies love it and while it is not the most pleasant thing to clean the filters every week it is well worth it.  Happy Holiday's!

That's a beautiful pond. Looking through your pics I couldn't make out how the filter worked. Was it a DIY filter or did you buy it?

Even if I was to make a DIY filter, any idea how I would get all of the 'muck' into a barrel filter and not just have it on the bottom of the pond..?

Pump is most important. Triple what it processes for the amount and you will be happy you did!

For 500 gallon pond, we are using a 1900 gallon pondmaster pump
