I've had Golden Comets since Feb. and through cold, wet, ice, snow and even now- well into the molt, the girls are still producing an egg each a day. In the cold months, they have a light in their coop so that helps keep them warm and laying.

is he dead set on brown eggs. there are the very colorful ee's and i have seen more exotic colors and patterns with the white egg layers like campines and buttercups.
