What is the best roofing material for hot weather?

In my own experience aluminum + Kool Seal elastomeric is the way to go. It's white, reflects the sun, and I've read that it can drop inside temps up to 15*. It's about $14 a gallon and covers 100 sq. ft. It also seals small cracks or nail holes and is guaranteed to stop leaks for 7yrs.

Application is easy:

Do you mean to use koolseal on the sides and roof and then the aluminum on top or just use koolseal on the sides?
Or do you mean to use koolseal on the top of the aluminum itself?
Also, it doesn't look like there are any retailers in my area. Do you have any other similar recomendations?

I have the corrugated plastic stuff from Lowe's. It's placed about 6-8" above the wire of the chicken run and it's white. My pen/run was in shade already, but the white plastic cooled it down nicely and they still get the air flow.

When using a product like Kool Seal do you paint just the outside or the inside as well?
