what is the best way to water a flock?

just wondering what is the best way to water a flock, best if its home made and last a long time, thanks.

Toad proofing... important.

I fill buckets and bowls with water. Not sure if there is a "best way" but I do like the design above.

I use a couple of horse buckets outside. A dog waterer in the coop. Have 21 birds to care for....small flock.

Nipple waterers. Only way to go. Five gallon bucket will last me (5 BO's) over a week in hot summer weather. No daily cleaning, no daily filling. Happy chickens.
