You can do anything you want with a cornish cross rock based on its age. At 5 weeks it makes a great fryer. Older than that it is just too big for most instances of frying.
I usually have a nice mix of birds. Some thin breasted cockerals from large breeds and some broilers. Depending on what I want to cook is how I choose what comes out of the freezer.
