So the main reason is wondering about the sexlink names is people are always asking "What kinds of Chickens do you have?" If you say Sexlink they look at you like "HUH?" SO if I can say - well, this one is Golden Buff, that is a Cinnamon Queen and this one is Golden Comet, since they don't know what a sexlink is, they won't know that all three of those are basically the same thing and it just sounds better to those who know little about chickens!

Which is exactly the problem - or not, depending on how you look at it. If you think about it, sex-links are quite fascinating, imo.
