What is the "Egg Song"

Thanks so much to all who replied, I heard one of them singing that this morning, and went out to check as they were still in their coop, but no eggs yet.

The Egg Song is ABOUT the whole egg-laying experience, as it's a song. Like singing in the rain, or crooning a love song, one doesn't need to be IN a rainstorm, or currently IN love with someone, or having just laid an egg.

I'm gonna lay an egg, I'm thinking about laying an egg, I just laid an egg, somebody else just laid an egg, somebody else is close to laying and is testing out the nest box, and the like.

Even roosters sometimes sing the Egg Song.

I think mine sing when they can't find their flock back. One of my white leghorns will scream her song to try to get an answer from someone else in the flock so she can find them.

I recorded mine before and after egg laying. My RIR sang the egg song twice and since, she goes into the nest box, sits, lays and then comes out like nothing happened. No singing. Glad I was able to hear it when I did. Now I have the egg song as my ring tone on my cell. It cracks me up everytime I hear it ring!
