The fastest maturing breed I've raised are Jaerhons. I know there are even fastest maturing but I've never raised them.

You want to put this in perspective of either meat birds or dual purpose birds.
I was confused and told you the fastest maturing breed I knew of but the bird I suggested was an egg breed, not for meat.

They are not giving awards anymore for the fastest growing chicken(they did back on 1946-1952) so most dual purpose breeds have not been selected for such trait and average between 800-1000 grams live weight at 8 weeks of age
