Is there a better way to find out?
Not really til they start growing or eggs pop out, but if those two (cross barred rocks) are about the same age the one has a to be a cockerel.
(Cockerel tips) red comb and red waddles by about 4-6 weeks and if there’s another rooster him and other would be chest bumping
