I was wondering what breed of chicken is the largest... JG? Short but to the point post, huh!!

the NO...is for check the Guinness world records, you´ll find a WHITE SULLY as the heaviest rooster, it weighted 24 pounds, but the breed seemed to have desapeared....if you consider Broiler parents a breed, these parents have the genetics to weight even more....

The JG as you stated is probably biggest. The biggest breed not from New Jersey would be Brahmas, and I think Aseel are the tallest.
 
I once heard that there was a breed developed in Arizona or New Mexico that was bigger, but I don't recall the name.

(The breeders probably only did it to irritate TEXANS! Ha-Ha!)
