What is the metronidazole dosage for a 2 lb hen?

I'm treating canker, the hen is a silkie, about two pounds--maybe 2.5.

I believe that 50 mg per pound of weight given daily for 5 days is the proper dosage. Does she have yellow material or plagues inside her beak and throat? Is there a bad odor from the beak?
