i think id focus more on how to raise them. my turkey stay near me for protection but i had some really bad hatches and twice ended up with one chick being carried around in my shirt pocket to keep it from being alone. guess what... i have two turkey who will come stick their head in my hand to be rubbed. they will still run away if they think i am going to pick them up though.haha well I have two cats...and a baby girl on the way.
What if I get ONE duck to go with chickens? Would that work? I just hate how my chickens want nothing to do with me, unless I have treats!
I don't want to keep the duck inside...i know they are messy. Maybe I should just get a dog...but I know my husband would never go for that.
Anyways, would one duck work with other chickens? or would the duck ignore me too?
