The fact is, commercial feed companies spend small fortunes formulating balanced diets for your fowl. You can`t do much better, if at all. If you go cheap, your flock will suffer healthwise. Just like everything else in life, it goes back to the old saying, "you get what you pay for". Besides, after you spend all that time and money trying to supplement, you still have almost as much in it financially and what you end up with is not as good. Keep it simple.........Pop​
