What is the strangest thing your chickens ate? Mine just ate crawfish Monica and aligator tail

We don't try to stop him, we let him stick his nose right in the treat pan. If he's interested he stays, if he's not he comes back in the house.

Better then eating chicken turds, my Tennesee Mountain Cur eats chicken poop, he ain't kissin me! Lol!

Well, /whisper.... don't tell anyone, but I have three yorkies, 2 female, 1 male...what I don't know won't make my stomach turn, but I have caught them at different times enjoying a little snack also!

yugh..My dog eats cat poop. Right out of the litter tray. She eats absolutely everything. (As do chickens, apparently, but at least they're dainty;-)

I work on a farm and my white boxer thinks the dung heap is an all you can eat buffet.
He also rolls in the chicken poop in the garden and has big smears on his white fur. He always looks so pleased with himself!

Pretty much everyone has listed the things my chickens have ate. Mice, chicken, cow turds, I just figure their bodies must really need whatever it is they go crazy for so I just let 'em do their thing :].

I do have an alcoholic chicken I've named Marge. She's named after her favorite drink . I only let her have sips though, she can be an angry drunk sometimes XD

It is delicious. Reminds me a bit of rhubarb, but sweeter. The grapes are peeled. I've never made one, but I bet it is time consuming getting the grapes ready! There are some ladies in a small town nearby that make them and sell them at our annual Spoon River Scenic Drive craft/flea market.

Lol at cabin Katie. My flock just enjoyed what was left of my deer carcass. They seem to enjoy venison as much as we do. Yummy.
