What is the strangest thing your chickens ate? Mine just ate crawfish Monica and aligator tail

Centipedes!!    Holy Crow are these things disgusting! They are about 5 to 6 inches long and about a 1/2 inch thick! On the end of each leg is a pincer that when it crawls on you pinches really hard like needles.  These things are creepy, fast and just plain out scary! I will see the chickens chase each other down for these things, ripping the centipede in half or sometimes gulping the moving crawling thing right down their throats! It has GOT to be still crawling around in the crop!!   Creeps me right out! Ha!

I watched in fascinated horror as one of my RIRs' chased, caught & dismembered a large Pickerel frog - then ate it!!

We have to be really careful not to leave any laying around. What's weird is that it doesn't seem to bother them!

One time I was butchering a chicken and I was kind of in a hurry so I ripped it wing of and our rooster took off with it.

Has anyone noticed that when they eat salmon or other fish you can taste a slight sea food taste in ther eggs? I spoiled them one day with salmon and the next couple days there eggs tasted a little salmony. It was also raw salmon so maybe that had something to do with it

I think that would be quite healthy for them, humans eat sushi so why not chickens, lol.
