What is the strangest thing your chickens ate? Mine just ate crawfish Monica and aligator tail

My Chickens have eaten leftover cooked Chicken, deer, turnips, eggs, beer, beef. shoot they have ate and dank so much that I can not name every thing we call them are trash cans

No pics that I can get to now but I have video of 2 of mine eating snakes they have scratched up. Largest one about the diameter of a pencil and slightly longer. Last spring they found and devoured 3.

My mom had cooked kish the other night for supper. Eggs, bacon, the whole 9 yards. A couple of nights later she told my to go give it to the chickens. THEY LOVED IT!

Okay, so this morning I let my chickens out of the coop to free range. As I was watching I saw my little hen that was bullied a lot digging in the leaved frantically. Then she had a little field mouse in her beak. She was running trying to find a spot away from every one else. She ate it and seemed to enjoy it!

Really? I can't believe they'd do that! Although they are attracted to blood if another chicken is bleeding so not too disgusting

Had my cochin hen sitting on my shoulder in the house, she decided the height was a perfect way to reach that tasty morsel of a ceiling fan pull. Had to fish it back up out of her crop! We no longer have shiny ends on the pulls that she can get her beak 'round.

Food wise, she has literally leaped in to chicken and dumpling soup bowls when I wouldn't share. Saw her kill and eat a spricket despite the huge leg spurs, tried to stop her but didn't get there in time. Also took a slice of pizza once. Dragged it off, scratched at it and pulled off all the cheese, got too alarmed by all the gooey on her boots to actually eat any of it but an attempt was made.
