what is the Tylan dosage for a standard size rooster

Hi, I know I have read about using Tylan 50 for the treatment of infections, but I cannot remember the dosage or find the thread. I think it was 2 ccs daily in the breast for 5 days or an oral treatment for 7 days, but I am not positive. If you know the correct dosage and administration, please let me know. Thanks so much!

I gave yesterday 2cc to my rooster I will give him 2cc for 3 days and let the medication work, he start cough for some reason and I cant separate him form the laddies

I would get a weight on him by holding him in your arms, and then subtracting your weight to get a figure. Tylan dosage is pretty varied by sources, but I would give 0.2 ml or 10mg per pound twice a day for 5 days, whether it is given orally or as an injection. For a 5 pound chicken that would be 1 ml, for 7-8 pounds give 1.5 ml, and for 10 pounds give 2 ml. Hope that helps.
