What is the weirdest thing your broody has tried to hatch?

The can is bigger than the eggs, so my best estimation of the # of days to hatch is about 40.

I got to see today; she has 3 eggs under her too. With my rooster, I'm sure they're fertile! He likes his ladies... a lot.

Okay, she may not be the prettiest broody out there but here she is:

The rooster took his toll on her. I've got him better trained now. She hasn't molted in a year and this broodiness is stopping her from doing it. Notice the can?

Oh my, that poor girl. Maybe all that attention from the rooster scrambled her mind a bit.

The wings and head feathers missing are due to the roo, tail feathers missing are due to her low pecking order rank. That combined with a hard winter was a recipe for disaster.

my silkie tried to hatch a thing of nails,she gave up after 4 days and then promptly tried to hatch a box
