What is this Ameraucana/EE rooster's color? (pic)

I believe this guy was being used in a breeding program for wheatens and maybe blue wheatens... He can't be splash can he?

Any ideas what might result if he's paired with black hens?

He is not a recognized color of Ameraucana and I doubt it has a name. I hope no one was using him in a Blue Wheaten program or they really messed up, IMO. He's a handsome EE boy, not an Ameraucana.
