EARWIGS! They won't hurt chickens, and in fact, my chickens will eat them. I've noticed them in my small, A-frame chicken coop occasionally.

When I clean out and replace the pine shavings, I usually sprinkle some Seven Dust around. That helps keep out any bugs.
