What is this behavior?

Hi guys, so I have four khaki campbells about 11 weeks old. Ive noticed lately that one of my hens has been acting different. She will go around my other drakes (and hens) and will completely flatten herself out on the ground, neck straight out and lay there for about 10 seconds. All of my ducks will then nibble on her neck while she does this... We think it looks like shes planking! LOL Is this a mating behavior? Or are they trying to determine rank in the flock?

She's developing an interest in lovin'. It is indeed mating behavior. Your 'girl' is growing up.

So I'm not the only one who thinks it looks like planking. That's what we call it. LOL
