Yep Pigeons are fast.... so are doves.... Awesome you got to see that....

First bird I believe is a Prairie falcon, often confused for the peregrine. Because of the decline of certain raptor species, many wild nest sites are being monitored with all the nestlings banded for future identification.

Second looks to be a juvenile Cooper’s hawk.

Stunning! Love that striped tail.
Could also be a sharp shinned hawk, they look very similar but are much smaller than Cooper’s.

It's been coming around at least once a day and yesterday the crows were making a bunch of noise so I went out and saw it with the pigeon.

encourage the crows they are very territorial and will fight off predators
