Falcons (peregrine, sparrowhawks, goshawks, etc) all have long narrow wings with pointed tips. They also have more rapid wing beats that may make you think of a strobe light.

The bird in post #4 looks like a Coopers Hawk. The raptor pictured in post #10 is a peregrine falcon. In post #10 note the knife edged wings and the distinctive cheek patch. The raptor in posts #1 looks sort of like a falcon.

An Arab prince recently purchased a wild captured Farsi falcon for the astonishing price of almost $700,000 US Dollars. If you want my opinion we chicken people are in the wrong business. You folks my want to hone up on your falcon catching skills.
