The females color is not right for a black shoulder bird. He said he sold another pair last year for something like $4500.00. and he knows what he is talking about. I didnt ask him question to make him mad but if some one paid that much , they should put out for more breeders to work withand even at half the price they would be cheap.. connerhills

"Hi,
I never heard of a chocolate peafowl before. That is sad that you are making up rare breeds just to sell the birds for a very high price."

and got this reply:

"no!! no ones got my colors and mine are rarest of rare! so ur sad becuse new colors come out every season smart one!!dont like it dont bid!!im not one to call my birds pied becuse they have 1 feather white on them like many,many other breeders the birds we are talkin about are both very dark brown with almost every eye black ive sold one other pair last year i made 2800.00 for and they werent nearly as beutiful as this pair!!AND THAT COUPLE ALSO SAID WHICH THEY HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THEM AND WERE MORE THEN HAPPY TO PAY THAT ITS TAKING ME MANY YEARS TO GET TO THE COLORS I HAVE!! u ever seen a all white with green eyes??guess what i have 5 thats takin me more then 13yrs to get to were im at with my whites they still come out with acouple eyes that are split white green but i think it will take me another 2/3+years to get them complete but really i dont havta explain myself to u it really rude to make that comment when just like chickens started from the jungle fowl now look how many,many differnt types sizes etc...etc...who named all them?? people that crossed them inbread them etc..etc..so who r u to judge?? please dont waste my time again or yours u dont like dont buy bottom line!!god bless u!1 "

O kay, if this is all so TURE on his end. 1 question, why not post pics of his full color breeders that these "chocolates" come from...would also love to see a true green eyed white?? LOL

It is obvious he's a scammer, if he really had all these " new colors", he'd be a household name in the peafowl world, like Brad Legg is.
Also, $450 would be a heck of a price on a new color...sad thing is, this just isnt the case.... show me a full trained breeder male, and we'll talk, but showing yearling purples dont cut it in my book, LOL....

Brad Legg travels all over the country looking to see if anyone has new colors, so if this guy has been breeding these new colors for 13 years. Brad would have found him by now and Brad would own the birds.

Maybe after he gets a few hundred email he may get it they are purple. Sad thing they really are people that will not know until they pay big dollars for some purple.
