Beautiful pics! I really want EEs now. I would help you out with names, if you want, but my mind is blank right now.

They all have names I just can't decide who is who anymore. I have Flamette, Lela and Willma. They have all started to look so much alike now I can't tell them apart unless I looke for a long time and study them. Flamette is a little different but the other two where always like twins and have gotten worse now. I call them the Sisters most of the time......

Oh I see. whew! I was afraid I would do you an injustice with my lack of naming ability. Thanks for sharing those pics! I think I have fallen head over heels for EEs now...or at least for bearded chickens!

Since I have put the roost in there they are always on it. Day and night. And they are used to me coming in and talking to them while they are on it so they watch me to see what I am going to do. They are such hams.

One basic thing to remember about chickens. Except for a possible odd mix, if it's got white earlobes, it's going to lay white eggs. So if she's got white earlobes, you can rule out any brown egg laying bird, like a giant, a black sex link, or an australorp. With white earlobes, she's either a minorca or an andalusian, and since Meyer doesn't sell minorcas... pretty sure she's an andalusian.
