Where did you get the lil fella?

My first thought was a leghorn but then I saw it had five toes so maybe it is a silky leghorn mix?

From wilco. I also have another one from the same batch and it is definitely a cochin frizzle. Only has 4 toes. This one has way longer feathers on its feet and has 5 toes.

Wilco is a farm store.....orders chicks from a hatchery?

If so that little bird is not likely a mixed breed.

Do you know what hatchery that Wilco store gets chicks from?
You might be able to look at the list of possible breeds and see if they offer something unusual.

Or maybe the hatchery "improved" their cochin stock by crossing in a Sultan or a Silkie a few generations back. If they bred back to properly cochin traits before selling chicks that would be fine, but that doesn't seem to be the case here.

I have no idea where they get them from. Im assuming a few places since they carry so many kinds. Well I guess it will be fun to see what it is!
