I ordered six New Hampshire Reds and six RIRs. So what is the chick with the stripey back?
Easter egger maybe?
Quote:It's a cuties, but no slate or green legs, no muffs doesn't look like an EE.
I'm leaning toward Welsummer.
It looks exactly like one of my chicks and ive got RIR, RIR x light sussex & RIR x Maran's. So i think it could be a roadie chick. We've been trying to work out which one's are which, thanks
Little "chipmonks" can be Brown Leghorns or Wellys...
I only got one of each breed (6 total), but I have a striped one like that and I thought it was my RIR.
All of my game chicks last year came out loking like that
The stripe-back looks like one of my chicks, who is either an EE or a Welsummer. So if Post #3 is right and she's not an EE, I'd bet Welsummer.
wellie, leghorns have bright yellow legs
