She might be a mixed breed. If she is part Buff Leghorn, that would be why it looks buff and lays white eggs. If she is part something else, that would be why she has red earlobes and why the legs are that color. (Leghorns are supposed to have yellow legs.)

In that case, the earlobe color means she is probably still a mix of some sort, but the legs are the right color for a Leghorn who plays in the mud

To me they look.... white? Why did I think they were red? They do look white now.

Legs also look willow to me. Maybe you've got a different screen!

That is always the hard part about trying to see colors on anything with a screen!

At present, I think I see white earlobs (even though OP said "red earlobes" in the first post) and willow legs (but OP said they are normally yellow, just muddy at present.)

So it could be a Buff Leghorn that has been playing in the mud.

Or it could be a part-Leghorn mixed breed, because a mix can have just about any traits, depending on what it was mixed with.
