What is Chrissie thinking? By the way, I don't know what breed banty she is, but she is around 8 years old and still laying every day - you just have to hunt for her eggs!

Looks like an old English game bantam, beautiful bird. 8 years old and STILL laying? Wow. Has she ever gone broody? Don't want to hijack the thread here...

That's funny!
I was asking because a friend has an OEGB that looks identical to your hen. She is only two and has already gone broody several times, she is incredibly friendly too.
They are a really neat breed.
