(Deep bass voice.) See my comb? Isn't it the finest in the land?
Laughter is the best medicine....thanks for making me laugh...you have a wonderful sense of humour!I believe I interpreted it the way you do when I first read it but then I got to thinking, isn't giving a thumbs up to someone who has made you happy by laughing or entertaining you included in, "posts that are beneficial to the forum and its membership as a whole?"
I had already received several ovations before I knew what they were and how they were made. I also thought it was a good way to keep the forums from being so cluttered by people saying, "Thank you" and "I really thought that was funny."
Also, if you read a little further down, it says what I just said and no one got chewed out for it. Re: 187 and 189.
I liked what I took it to mean in the first place but I also like being able to thank someone without feeling like I'm overdoing it by posting one last post to say Thank You. I don't mean to be annoying and if everyone thinks giving a thumbs up for receiving a bit of happiness is wrong in this sense, I won't do it again nor will I advise anyone to do it the way I have been doing it. I just need a monitor to clear it up for me.
I totally agree, that's why many of us have chickens and love BYC. What is this chicken thinking is a great thread.Laughter is the best medicine....thanks for making me laugh...you have a wonderful sense of humour!

Hey, bro! I don't think that's the commode!
Where are my brothers and sisters? Mom? Are you there? Mom?
Look into my eyes and listen to my voice...You are getting sleepy, sleepy, sleepy…..
She's behind me isn't she?
