That hen is the "mom" to that cockerel, I say "mom" because it's not actually her chick, she hatched another hens egg. The cockerel is so attached to his mom, if the mom goes out of the cage( which is rare, she dosnt like to go out much) the cockerel will refuse to go in until after his mom does. Even bribing him with treats won't work, if moms not in, neither is he. He even stops the head rooster (his dad) from mating with his mom, which can get annoying considering I want to breed her.
