Recently taught the girls to eat dandelion seeds

And the three step class to become a certified member of the of the "Rent A Hen And Go Green Lawn Service" is about to begin its demonstrations, The first test is Recognizing and Identifying Common Weed Seeds... here we are pointing out the common dandelion seed head to an enthusiastic participant.

And now on to the second test, how to control and remove unwanted weeds, this is where our Hens shine! Here we have a lovely Barred Rock hen demonstrating a full frontal attack, perfect for those exceptionally tough weed seeds that refuse to let go of the flower head.

and here she is again with a demonstration of the third test, the extremely delicate gathering technique that needs to be used on those puff balls that are just waiting to explode and spread seeds all over the lawn!
Now the rest of you hens go practice on the lawn! There shouldn't be a dandelion seed left by the time the class is finished!
